Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
Collegiate Strength (“we,” “us”) operates a public collegiate powerlifting leaderboard. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account info from your sign-in provider. When you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive your name, email address, and profile image. We use these only to create and identify your account.
- Profile and lift data you submit. Your chosen display name, university, sex, age, body weight, and your squat/bench/deadlift entries, plus any optional proof link you attach.
How we use it
- To authenticate you and maintain your account.
- To display your lifts, display name, university, and DOTS score on public leaderboards and profile pages. Your email is never shown publicly.
- To calculate rankings and detect implausible or fraudulent submissions.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We use third-party providers to run the service: Google and Discord (authentication), Supabase (database hosting), Vercel (application hosting), and PostHog (product analytics and session replay). Lift and profile information you submit is publicly visible by design.
Meet results from public records
Our meet pages show factual competition results (lifter name, bodyweight, lifts, placing, meet, and date) sourced from the OpenPowerlifting public-domain dataset. We honor OpenPowerlifting’s redaction list, and we do not publish profile pages for people who have not signed up — unclaimed results appear only as factual rows on a meet page. Collegiate Strength is not affiliated with or endorsed by OpenPowerlifting, the lifters listed, or their schools.
Cookies & analytics
We use PostHog for product analytics — which pages get visited, and in-app actions like lift submissions, searches, and filter toggles — and for session replay (recordings of on-screen interactions, with all form inputs masked).
- Consent first. No analytics cookies are set and nothing is recorded until you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner. If you choose “Decline,” analytics stays off. You can change your mind anytime via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
- What we collect. An anonymous device/user identifier, the pages you visit, in-app actions, approximate device and browser information, and masked session recordings. Signed-in activity is tied to your account by an internal id only.
- What we don’t. We never send your email or name to PostHog, and we never send the text you type into search.
- Cookies set. A PostHog identifier cookie (only after you accept) plus a small preference stored in your browser to remember your consent choice.
Your choices
You can edit your profile and delete individual lifts at any time from your profile page. To have meet-result data removed — no account required — use our data removal form. To delete your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.
